The Natural Park of Sant Llorenç del Munt i l'Obac adhered to the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism (CETS) in 2010.
The CETS was born with the idea of ensuring that the public use of the natural park is developed in a manner compatible with the conservation of natural and historical heritage, with the aim of
minimizing the negative impacts that tourism can have and favoring positive aspects, such as local socioeconomic development, which generates tourism activity.
The CETS is a set of good environmental practices for the sustainable management of tourism in protected natural areas. It is a work tool, of a voluntary nature, based on the participation of all the
agents involved in the park's tourism offer in order to define a common strategy and objectives. It involves both the managers of the protected natural spaces and the tourism companies.
Our company is committed to the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism, implemented in the Natural Park of Sant Llorenç del Munt i l'Obac
